VI EDITION
Antonio Genovesi Prize - VI edition (2016)
The VI Edition of the Genovesi Prize (2016) saw 17 working groups involved in the drafting of economic and financial feasibility studies (in collaboration with students of the Management and Business Development Course, UNISA). Here are the 6th edition projects:
- “Recupero e valorizzazione del Teatro Romano (Benevento)/Recovery and enhancement of the Roman Theater (Benevento)”. Students: Amore Alessia, D’Imperio Teresa, Durazzo Serena, Troiano Alessandra;
- “Recupero e riuso del Convento di Santa Maria degli Angeli (Montoro – AV)/Recovery and reuse of the Convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli (Montoro – AV)”. Students: Carrelli Serena, Del Regno Melania, Ferrigno Maria, Vitrone Vittorio;

- “Valorizzazione di un villaggio turistico in costiera cilentana (Pollica – SA)/Enhancement of a tourist village on the Cilento coast (Pollica – SA)”. Students: Abate Mario, Bruno Angelo, Casalnuovo Alessandro, Crescenzo Luca, Grimaldi Alessandro;
- “Etruschi di frontiera (Pontecagnano Faiano – SA)/Etruscan of frontier (Pontecagnano Faiano – SA)”. Students: Esposito Ciro, La Rana Luca, Paragallo Giuseppe, Sorano Laura Giorgia, Vece Noemi;
- “Polo enogastronomico per Palazzo De Capua (Altavilla Irpina – AV)/Food and wine centre for Palazzo De Capua (Altavilla Irpina – AV)”. Students: Caridi Sara, Maselli Gabriella, Perrotta Ilaria, Severino Ida;
- “Sniffi – naso intelligente (ENEA, Portici – NA)/Sniffi – smart nose (ENEA, Portici – NA)”. Students: Forlano Antonella, Fortunato Dalila, Lamberti Alfonso, Landi Giuseppe, Pastorino Guido.
The following groups of students have been awarded the edition prize or won the edition.
Feasibility Section: the recognition went to the students Antonio Boccia, Mariarosaria Faiella, Carmine Giannattasio, Daniele Moscariello and Federica Vitale with the project “Conservative restoration and refunctionalization of the mills in the valley, Gragnano (NA)”, for the level of detail of the functional solutions and the financial plan, for the theoretical-disciplinary insights that relate to the estimate of the social effects that result from the investment (investment amount € 2,050,000).
Research Section: students Sara Caridi, Gabriella Maselli, Ilaria Perrotta and Ida Severino were awarded the prize for the project “Food and wine centre for Palazzo De Capua in Altavilla Irpina (AV), for the methodological coherence in the elaboration of the investment project and for the ability to implement multi-criteria analysis techniques (investment amount € 2,614,000).
Creativity Section: the prize went to students Serena Carrelli, Melania Del Regno, Maria Ferrigno, Vittorio Vitrone, with the project “Recovery and reuse of the Convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli in Montoro (AV)” for technical-design and financial solutions for the ability to reconcile the mercantile dynamics of the reference territory (investment amount € 770,000).
For the first time, the Eco-sustainability Award was introduced, further to the proposal of Mr. Antonio Pizzolante, President of the Scientific-Cultural Association GIOVING – Young Engineers. The recognition went to the students Marco De Carluccio, Teodolinda Frate, Fabio Oliva, Lorenzo Savignano, Roberta Sellitto, Gerardina Vece with the project “The sports garden in Baronissi (SA)” for the value of the contents of the technical-financial documents and for the ability to propose sustainable technological solutions in environmental terms (investment amount € 1,672,000).
The Prize, which consists of the free registration to the Association for a year and in the involvement of the winners in initiatives of the Association itself, was created with the aim at increasing the attention towards issues related to the economic evaluation of project investment.
Also for the sixth edition SOCOMER Grandi Lavori provided three scholarships for a total of € 3,600 and the possibility of carrying out a quarterly internship in the company.
